DRACONICON is a dark power metal band from Italy, blending heavy riffs, melodic songwriting, cinematic orchestrations and gothic atmospheres into a distinctive and immersive sound.

The band released its debut album Dark Side of Magic in 2021, introducing the musical world and identity of DRACONICON. In 2023, DRACONICON signed with Swedish label Inner Wound Recordings and released the second album, Pestilence, further developing a darker and more cinematic sound, enriched by the orchestral arrangements of Francesco Ferrini of Fleshgod Apocalypse.

DRACONICON combines the energy and melodies of power metal with darker influences, orchestral elements and a strong visual identity. Across its music, the band explores themes of power, conflict, darkness and the most unsettling aspects of human nature.

The band is now working towards its third album, Empire, a new chapter that continues the evolution of the DRACONICON sound while remaining rooted in the dark, melodic and cinematic identity that has defined the band since the beginning.
